Tonight Matt, Kate and Mitch came over with dinner and to play (as much as a 10 week old and 1 week old can play).

Happy Hour
Last Friday while we were at the hospital our friends were having happy hour at Holdens (the bar around the corner from our place). After we got the text about happy hour, Josh texted back a picture of Elliot with the message "won't be making it to Holdens." So this Friday, we went to Holden's to celebrate Elliot's one week birthday. We stayed for about an hour and everyone spent most of the time looking at Elliot.
Elliot's First Outing
On Tuesday, we took Elliot out in his sling to the coffee shop, the bank, the movie store, and the corner market. Sounds like a big outing but it was just around the block. He was all snuggled up against Josh and we walked really (and I mean really) slowly.
Wednesday we walked downtown to the library. Elliot loved the library....he slept the whole time. On the way back we took the street car, it was maybe too long of a walk for me. He loves his sling, it is just like being in the womb only I don't have to carry him all the time!
