1st Christmas
It was a busy 2 days (the 24th and 25th) but they were fun. Elliot got to experience Christmas with the Harnden's and with the Brandt's. On Christmas Eve we had dinner at my aunt and uncle's with my cousins and their kids. It is always fun to watch the kids rip into their presents. On Christmas morning we had breakfast with the Harnden's (mom, dad, Uncle Brandon, and Aunt Jenn) and the Christmas afternoon with the Brandt's. I wasn't joking when I said it was busy, Elliot is so tired today (the 26th) he can barely keep his eyes open for more than an hour. Snow Days!
What do you do when it snows all day? Well we took Elliot to the roof and set him on the ice that covered the 4 inches of snow that fell on Saturday. He hated it, and I can't say Josh and I had all that much fun, it was pretty cold and icy. It rarely snows this much and then stays for days around here, and it looks like it might stay this way until Christmas. Elliot also had a photo shoot when we came back downstairs. He is so cute almost all of the time! Leah and Ollie braved the roads and came over for dinner and to play with Elliot this afternoon. Ollie and Elliot had some important discussions about life.
This Week's Cuteness
This has been a cold, snowy week in Portland but Elliot and I have been having a great time! He is smiling and making more noises everyday. This week Mimi and Gramps (how do you like that one Michael?) came over so I could go to the gym and then go shopping. The picture of Mary is how I found them when I returned. Elliot and I have been up at about 6ish every morning and all he does is smile away. 6 is pretty early bt as soon as he starts smiling and making noises it is all worth it!
